Pressure/vacuum swing adsorption

At increased pressures, biogas passes through a series of adsorption beds, each packed with carbon molecular sieves. This adsorption medium is capable of separation of CO2 from methane under pressure. Other components that are completely or partially removed are water, nitrogen and oxygen. Liquid water and hydrogen sulfide are contaminants in this process and must be removed in advance.more than 97% methane recovery
